Privacy Practices for Clinical Services
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This is a clinical privacy resource, not a complete Notice of Privacy Practices. For how this website handles information, see our Website Privacy Policy.
Care arranged through Grow Therapy
For privacy information about care arranged through Grow Therapy, read Grow Therapy’s Notice of Privacy Practices (opens in a new tab).
This link is a resource, not confirmation that Grow’s notice legally covers every aspect of Ervin’s contracted care. The applicable notice depends on the contractual arrangement. Ask Ervin or Grow Therapy to confirm which notice applies to your care.
Confidentiality in general
Counseling information is protected by applicable privacy law and Ohio counselor-client confidentiality and privilege rules. Confidentiality has limits, including certain legally required reports and situations involving serious threats to safety. These limits depend on the circumstances and the law that applies.
A request, demand, or subpoena alone does not automatically authorize release of protected counseling information. Any disclosure must satisfy applicable law, including stricter Ohio protections where they apply; federal permissions do not override those protections.
Other care arrangements
Westside Counseling Ltd. has no current independent clients and is not offering independent services through this website. If independent care is arranged in the future, the applicable privacy information will be finalized and provided before that care begins. Care Ervin provides as an employee of an unrelated organization is governed by that organization’s arrangements, not by this website.
